eBay On Location in Orlando
For those folks in and around Orlando, FL that are promoting eBay properties through the eBay Partner Network, you might want to check out eBay On Location taking place at the Hilton Orlando on September 7th and 8th.
The price for everyone—sellers and affiliates alike—is $59 before August 15th and then it goes to $99.
You’ll get a chance to interact with eBay employees and learn about what the company is working on. You can learn more about the event via the eBay Partner Network blog.
In addition, Ivka Adam and Julia Barrett from the eBay Partner Network will be in town. They’re interested in meeting with existing affiliates or individuals that have an interest in learning more about the eBay Partner Network program.
You can register for the event at ebayonlocation.com. If you do plan to attend, please email Ivanka@ebay.com.

Matt – You’re absolutely right, eBay On Location is geared towards sellers, but many of the sessions will help educate you on what and how to promote eBay better. If you’re in the area, at least stop by to meet with Julia Barrett and me. We’d be happy to chat with you about your ePN affiliate experience.
Missy – great event by the way! Well done!
Hi Matt,
The event is definitely geared towards eBay sellers, but I think there are a few sessions that would benefit you as an affiliate. I believe it’s always good to get a sense of how a business operates and the players behind the scenes. This event will give you that opportunity.
As far as meeting Ivka and Julia – I think will definitely be worth attending. They’re the front lines of the program and will be able to talk at length with you about what’s currently happening and what’s to come.
Missy – see you at ASE this weekend!

Looking at the schedule, this seems mostly geared toward eBay sellers… (have you met epn team prior?) Do you think it’s really worth the time to attend only as an EPN aff?
(I doubt I can sit through a “best practices for ebay sellers” session if ya know what I mean 😉
I’ve met them a few times. I’ll actually be seeing them next week during Affiliate Summit East 2011. Maybe you should email Ivaka and see if she has any thoughts on whether it would be worth it for you based on what you’re doing.
