After spending over a dozen years in the Marketing Departments of various companies and managing her own affiliate sites, Missy Ward founded Affiliate Summit Corporation in 2003 with her business partner, Shawn Collins on a $400 investment.
In 2017, Clarion Events acquired Affiliate Summit Corporation, which includes the Affiliate Summit tradeshow and conference, FeedFront Magazine, GeekCast.fm, ReveNews.com, and the annual AffStat industry benchmark reports. Missy remained the Co-CEO of Affiliate Summit until July, 2020, when she “retired” for a few minutes before taking on a new role as Founder and CEO of Skrillgrrrl Corp.
For the last 22+ years, Missy Ward has helped companies grow their businesses successfully using the performance marketing model. Before she quit her day job, she was the Director of Public Relations for Media Breakaway LLC; Vice President of Partnership Marketing for eBound Strategies; President of Aluria Software; and Vice-President of Marketing for Global Travel International.
Missy Ward's Affiliate Marketing Books
Her book, “Make Money With Your WordPress Blog“, has taught hundreds of bloggers and content creators how to integrate affiliate marketing into their blogs and marketing efforts to earn the money their work merits. She is a contributor and editor of Internet Marketing from the Real Experts and is the author of “It's All About the Cookies“, which is a business book cleverly disguised as a cookbook. The net proceeds from the sales of these books are donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Avon Foundation for Women, respectively.

Hi Missy. My wife had 2 mastectomies about 11 years ago and now has some quiet stuff in her old bones so I'm always interested in other folks that want to help with cancer research. I'm trying to get a business off the ground in NC but I'm a geek type and don't know the right people with funding to actually do computer research to help with cancer research. I worked for a while with a lab in Scotland that did fluorescent microscopy and I did software for a server to send huge amounts of images across the net. Anyhow, enough geek. If you have any ideas to socialize my work, please let me know. I really would love to be writing software to help people live. I'm sort of doing that now with something related to the iPhone.

Hey, Melissa:
Found you via AdRants. Steve and Angela occasionally link to me. (I've linked my name to my blog here.)
As your former employee (man, that place went to hell after you left) I am now going to tell you what to do: Scale back the reflection on your logo. Let it fade more at the bottom. That is all.
Speaking of wine: my wife bought a bottle of Fat Bastard. I think she's trying to tell me something.
