Early Bird Rates for Affiliate Summit East 2014 Will…

I regularly see emails, Tweets, blog posts, and Facebook messages from conferences stating that they will be extending their early bird rates.

Well, just to be 100% clear about it, our deadlines are firm for early bird, and anything else we do with a deadline attached.

Some people (procrastinators) lash out at us for adhering for our posted dates and rules, and despite their best efforts, they are not successful in getting exceptions.

In the event that our registration system had an outage, we would work something out, but fortunately that has not been an issue.

Anyhow, the deadline to register for Affiliate Summit East 2014 at the early bird rate is May 16, 2014.

Now that we have this out of the way, be sure to get your registration(s) in the system by May 16, 2014 to get the best rate.

Also, reserve your room at the New York Marriott Marquis before the group rate is gone (July 18, 2014 or a sell out, whichever comes first).

Affiliate Summit East 2014 Has Raised $10,395 So Far…

The Race to Affiliate Summit East 2014, a dailymile challenge where Affiliate Summit will donate $1 to benefit the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in support of Affiliate Marketers Give Back team for each mile exercised through the challenge, is going through 07/31/2014.

Affiliate Summit Against Cancer There are currently 60 folks involved in the challenge, and the top ten competitors have already accumulated 7,789 miles.

Overall, there have been 10,395 miles tallied by all of the participants, so it’s $10,395 raised (so far).

I am currently hanging in the top ten at #8 (see my dailymile profile) with my 344 miles. A little more than 6 of those miles are from a 10k I ran last week. and it was the first time I ran (without a break) for 6 miles.

Affiliate Summit East 2014 is taking place August 10-12, 2014 in NYC.

The participant with the most total miles at the end of the challenge will receive a VIP Pass to Affiliate Summit West 2015. 2nd to 5th place finishers will each receive a Networking Plus Pass to Affiliate Summit West 2015, and 6th to 10th place finishers will each receive a Networking Pass to Affiliate Summit West 2015.

Just Because It’s Called Affiliate Summit Doesn’t Mean It’s…

Missy Ward and I created Affiliate Summit from scratch back in 2003, and have constantly evolved the company to do our best to make it the most productive and fun conference that it can be for the attendees.

So, it’s more than a little frustrating when I see a constant stream of domains registered in various countries with the Affiliate Summit name in them.

The latest, lazy, unimaginative hacks claim there is nothing wrong, because our brand is a generic name.
