Become a Fan of Affiliate Summit

by Missy Ward

The Affiliate Summit Fan Page on Facebook is now up and ready to accept new fans!

There's a ton of information available, including up to the minute news and a bunch of pictures from our previous shows.

While you're in the mood for joining fan clubs, I apparently have my own as well — courtesy of Oz Sultan who apparently thinks I'm cool enough to have my own Fan Club. Little does he know how uncool I actually am!

Become a fan of Affiliate Summit and Me — I hear that by joining both, it can prevent you from catching the flu this season. 😉

GoDaddy.com 10% Discount Coupon

by Missy Ward

I've had an account with GoDaddy.com for several years and have registered countless domains through them.

I think one of my favorite things about them is that their registration process works very quickly when using it on a mobile browser. This comes in handy when I have one of those “brainstorms” and have to grab that URL that's popping into mind, before anyone else does!

Today I picked up my missyward.me domain and a bunch of others that I'd been meaning to grab. I think one of my favorite features is the fact that my Paypal account is integrated so all those miscellaneous deposits that accumulate from things like TopSpots finally get used up 🙂

I've gotten my hands on a 10% off discount coupon that you can feel free to use. Just click on the banner below.

They also run a ton of specials on different domain extensions from time to time (such as their current one for .info domains at just 99 cents!

Check them out and let me know what you think.

Win A Year’s Worth of Cereal from Ted Murphy

by Missy Ward

Ted Murphy, CEO of Izea is at it again. He submerged himself in a bathtub full of cereal to launch a new promotion on Ted.me.

Ted's giving away 52 boxes of cereal to a lucky winner on his blog. On top of that, if he gets 500 comments on his post, he'll donate 52 boxes of cereal to a local food bank.

Here's where I come in. I've already adopted a Central Florida family for the holidays and am also sponsoring some silent auction items at another holiday party benefitting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. But that said, I'm always up for another good challenge that benefits my local community.

So, if Ted gets his 500 comments, I will match his 52 boxes of cereal and donate it to whatever local food bank he desires.

While I must admit that Ted's way of going about things is a little over the top at times, to quote a tag line in a Quaker Oatmeal (my favorite) commercial… “It’s a good thing to do and a tasty way to do it!”

So hop on over and post a little comment about your favorite cereal or how goofy Ted looks. Be a sport — It's for charity!

Missy Ward is on Vacation!

by Missy Ward

So Ad:tech NY is now over and a new day is dawning in America. Although I prefer not to shove my political beliefs down other people's throats, I would like to take a moment to say that I am utterly thrilled at the way things turned out. America, you look good in Blue today!

I'm still in NYC and am looking forward to the Mashable event this evening featuring Gary Vaynerchuk. Gary's sure to shake things up a bit and it will be a great send off for me as I head to Aruba on vacation tomorrow morning.

I'm a beach girl and I'm really looking forward to spending time walking on the coastline, hitting the water, fishing and enjoying the beautiful Aruba sunsets. These are the things that make me — well, me.

So while I head off to go be me, I'm not planning on forgetting you. After all, you're all part of me as well. So, how about I bring you back a gift from Aruba?

Just reply to this post and when I get back on the 17th, I'll mail you off your shot glass from Aruba, on me. 🙂

Take care and talk to you in a couple of weeks.
