Is Affiliate Summit For You?

by Missy Ward

When I run into affiliates, merchants, networks, agencies, OPM's, bloggers, SEO's and others; that have never been to Affiliate Summit, the “Think I should go?” question usually comes up at some point.

To answer their query, I typically let them know what they would expect to learn and who they'd expect to run into, if they decided to attend.

But rather than hear it from my mouth, (because you know… I'm the Momma and as such, we all know our babies are gorgeous!) we had some footage shot during Affiliate Summit East 2011, this past August.

The video below will give you an inside look at the Affiliate Summit Conference & Trade Show and you'll hear what some of our attendees have to say about it. {Disclosure: When I first saw this video I got a bit choked up….}

Still have questions? Shoot us off an email at http://www.affiliatesummit.com/contact/ and we'll get back to you ASAP. Promise!

Will I see you at Affiliate Summit West 2012 in January?

Charity Auctions to Benefit Emergency Services in Austin, TX

by Missy Ward

It’s been a few weeks now since wildfires broke out in Austin, TX and the surrounding areas, where my business partner, Shawn Collins lives.

Shawn and is neighbors are eternally grateful for Travis County Emergency Service District No.6, who courageously fought the central Texas wildfires of September 2011.

There were lots of fundraisers and events shortly after the wildfires, but things have quieted down since then.

But the needs Travis County Emergency Service District No.6 are ongoing, so Shawn wanted to start off a series of auctions to raise some funds for those heroes.

Here are a couple auctions to start:

Platinum Pass to Affiliate Summit West 2012
Interview on the Affiliate Tip Blog

Both will end on October 7, 2011. Opening bid for each will be $5.00, and there is no minimum after the opening bid.

The winners of any auctions will pay directly to these heroes via PayPal on their site at http://ltfr.org.

Here's an opportunity to get some great deals and help out at the same time.

Go bid, will ya?
