Early Bird Rates for Affiliate Summit East 2014 Will…

I regularly see emails, Tweets, blog posts, and Facebook messages from conferences stating that they will be extending their early bird rates.

Well, just to be 100% clear about it, our deadlines are firm for early bird, and anything else we do with a deadline attached.

Some people (procrastinators) lash out at us for adhering for our posted dates and rules, and despite their best efforts, they are not successful in getting exceptions.

In the event that our registration system had an outage, we would work something out, but fortunately that has not been an issue.

Anyhow, the deadline to register for Affiliate Summit East 2014 at the early bird rate is May 16, 2014.

Now that we have this out of the way, be sure to get your registration(s) in the system by May 16, 2014 to get the best rate.

Also, reserve your room at the New York Marriott Marquis before the group rate is gone (July 18, 2014 or a sell out, whichever comes first).

Performance Marketing Summit Denver (#PMSD14) is a 1-day event taking place in Denver Colorado at the History Colorado Center on Tuesday, June 17, 2014.

About Performance Marketing Summit Denver

This event is different from Affiliate Summit in that it is limited to 100 people. We will all be in one room, with a focus on education and making new contacts. All of the sessions are just 18-minutes long and the networking opportunities are plentiful.

Registration and coffee service begin at 8:00am. Sessions start at 10:00am and end at 4:30pm. The Performance Marketing Summit Denver agenda can be found here. Lunch is included along with a networking cocktail hour immediately following the conclusion of the event. The cost for all of this is just $99.00.

Shawn Collins Sets Record For Perfect Affiliate Summit Attendance

Shawn Collins Scores Perfect Attendance Shawn Collins, Co-Founder of Affiliate Summit is currently at the South Austin Trailer Park and Eatery for Performance Marketing Summit Austin 2014.

The Big “25”

I'm not sure if Shawn realizes this yet or not, but today is special for two reasons.

First, today marks Affiliate Summit Inc's 25th event. Don't believe me? See for yourself.

Additionally, although it pains me to say this, today I relinquish my “Affiliate Summit Inc. Event Perfect Attendance” crown to Shawn Collins. (Yep, I'm in Orlando right now while Shawn is managing the Performance Marketing Summit event.)

Affiliate Summit 20+'ers

Affiliate Summit 20+ Veterans Back at Affiliate Summit West 2013, we instituted the distribution of these buttons to the attendees that display the number of shows that they've attended.

We didn't realize at the time that if you accidentally give Affiliate Summit veterans the incorrect button, they would not be happy… and they will tell you so.

I could not have been more happy to talk to anyone at that show who cared enough to complain about it.

Many explained that these buttons were sort of a “badge of honor”. And today, I totally get that because I feel bummed that I blew up my perfect attendance record.

Luckily, I'm not alone in today's de-throning.

Brian Littleton, CEO of ShareASale has been to every Affiliate Summit Inc. event since 2003. Today he lost his reign as well.

Hats off to you, Shawn. Looks like we may need to get a “Perfect Attendance” button, specially made for you.
