Are You An Affiliate Marketing Super Hero?
Last month, in a post titled “Your Industry Needs You Now“, I reached out to the affiliate marketing community to ask for contributions to the Performance Marketing Fairness Fund, administered by the Performance Marketing Association (thePMA.org).
You and I live among kind-hearted people in our industry who have sent in their contributions in the last few weeks, but the PMA has yet to reach their fundraising goal.
Your financial help is needed so that the PMA can fight the state of Illinois’ appeal to overturn the Affiliate Nexus legislation that the PMA fought so hard to have declared unconstitutional.
Yes, it is THAT important!
We are at a time-sensitive and critical point. If the PMA does not fight the appeal, the law is NOT ruled unconstitutional and other states will quickly emerge with similar legislation. This could implode our entire industry.
If the PMA wins the appeal, it will be a significant blow to the states that have yet to enact Affiliate Nexus Tax laws as it will be upheld that these kinds of laws are unconstitutional. Furthermore, it will send Congress a very clear message that they must act to solve this problem once and for all.

For the last 5 years, the PMA has advocated for the performance marketing industry and successfully stopped anti-performance-marketing legislation from passing. But, we need your help now by making your contribution to the Performance Marketing Fairness Fund, so that we can continue protect your business and our industry.
In addition to protecting your business with your contribution, you will also receive the equivalent number of PMA Associate memberships to gift as you see fit. For example, with a $500.00 contribution, you could gift 5 Associate Memberships ($99 each). Or you could use it towards your membership dues, giving you a year at the Platinum Level, whichever you prefer.

As a 2012-2013 PMA Board Member, I've dedicated my time and skills to promote the growth of industry and advocate on its behalf. It is with that devotion that I invite you to become an Affiliate Marketing Super Hero and take me up on a little challenge.
I'm willing to match every dollar contributed to the Performance Marketing Fairness Fund during the month of April, 2013 (up to $10,000).
