First Central Florida Affiliate Marketers Meetup Recap

The first Central Florida Affiliate Marketers Meetup, was held on March 1st at The Imperial at Washburn Imports.

Over 70 affiliate marketers turned out for the event and lots of networking opportunities were had. I was pleasantly surprised that folks drove from as far 2+ hours away to get there!

During the event, we discussed moving forward with future meetups that will include both an educational and networking component. It was great to see so many people offer up their office space for future meetups as well as volunteer to lead educational sessions.

If you live in the Central Florida area and were not able to make the first meetup, don't fear. There's still plenty of future opportunities to mix & mingle and learn from our peers.

Both existing and future members can complete this survey, which will help shape our future meetups.

Affiliates: Tell the Community What You Want!

It’s time for the 9th annual AffStat survey of affiliate marketing statistics. The survey is now open through March 31, 2011.

This AffStat survey is focused on affiliates, so please do not complete the survey unless you are an affiliate.

Central Florida Affiliate Marketing Meetup Group

I just created The Central Florida Affiliate Marketer's Group on Meetup.com.

My goal for the group is to have Central Florida affiliate marketers get together to network, discuss industry issues and learn from each other.

Meetups will take place in the Orlando area.

Our first Meetup is on Tuesday, March 1st at The Imperial at Washburn Imports, from 6pm – 8pm.

Open bar and lite-bites will be sponsored by Affiliate Summit.

If you are an affiliate, merchant/advertiser, affiliate manager or network; incorporating affiliate marketing into your overall marketing efforts; or are simply looking to get into the business, this group is for you.
