Come Cheer on the 2014 Boston Avon Walkers with…

  • by Missy Ward

Affiliate Marketers Give Back is once again taking on another 39.3 miles for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Boston this weekend.

I'm excited to announce that our team of 5 has raised over $43,000 this year!  We are the 5th highest fundraising team for the Boston walk and I am the largest single fundraiser, coming in at $31,856.36 so far.

2014 Boston Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

The money that we raise will be disbursed by the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade to provide access to care for those who need it the most, fund educational programs and accelerate research into treatments and potential cures.

I Could Not Do It Without You

This is my 8th walk since I founded Affiliate Marketers Give Back in 2007, and because of people just like you, we have raised over $500,000.000 for charities that support Breast Cancer research, treatment, awareness and community programs.

Thank you for helping me help others. Please donate to http://iwalkforboobies.com

The affiliate marketing community has been a strong support system for so many affected by breast cancer. Words cannot express my gratitude for all of you the kindness and generosity shown by those of you who have supported me by reaching into your pocket to donate to this worthy cause …. and many of you have done so, year after year!

Join Our Cheering Station in Boston

I am just one of the thousands of people who have raised funds and will walk a marathon-and-a-half this weekend to do what we can to fight breast cancer.

When you walk 39.3 miles over 1-1/2 days, during the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, you experience a lot of different emotions — sadness, joy, frustration, inspiration, doubt, hope, determination and so much more. Couple that with muscle aches, blisters and exhaustion and the whole experience can get a little overwhelming.

I can tell you first hand that nothing motivates an Avon Walker more than seeing all of the folks that come out to show their support by cheering us on along the way. Clad in their Pink flair, with their motivational posters and music, etc.; their energy and excitement make us smile and laugh and gives us the encouragement we need to keep on going.

AffiliateMarketersGiveBack Cheering Stations

If you've got an hour or so to give up of your time this Sunday, May 18th, come join our team at Old Harbor Park (1 Ocean View Drive, Boston) from 11:30am-1:15pm to help cheer on the walkers. We'll be clad in our bestest pink getups, shaking our pop-poms and noise makers and giving out candy. I promise you that it will be inspirational and you will have a fun time supporting a great cause. Feel free to wear your pink and bring a poster with words of encouragement or something funny. Everyone loves funny.

Get Your Hands On This Set of Boobs

Boob Scarf available at BoobScarf.comSpeaking of funny. If you're looking for a great gag gift or real smile-getter, consider picking up a BoobScarf. I've used it during the last four breast cancer fundraising events, and I'll be sporting mine again this weekend. A portion of each sale of the scarf is donated to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

IWalkForBoobies.com

Oh wait — you're saying I forgot to ask you to donate??? How silly of me! Don't worry, it's not too late.
IWalkForBoobies.com
If I make you smile or remind you to get your mammogram by wearing these goofy clothes year after year, YOU HAVE THE POWER to help me continue to do so (oh… and cure cancer, too.).

Please consider making a donation at IWalkForBoobies.com. Any amount helps. If you’re looking for a meaningful denomination, $39.30 is a great amount as it represents $1.00 for each mile we will walk.

I hope to see some of you in Boston this weekend. If not, please follow us along via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and throw us a cheer in support.
