Doterati Announces Upcoming Tweetup Schedule

Doterati (Central Florida's association for interactive marketers, media and the tech community) is pretty close to rolling out their full calendar of events for 2009. In the meantime, they've announced their upcoming TweetUp schedule.

Looks like Central Florida marketers are in for some great networking opportunities.

In addition, they're decided to start a member interview section and I volunteered to be the first interviewee (somebody's gotta be the first). So here you can find out a little more about me…probably more than you care to know 🙂

I'm looking forward to learning more about other Doterati members in my community.

Happy Birthday, Jim Kukral

So a few weeks ago, my neighbor had a garage sale and I picked up a 5 MP camcorder that her young daughter had given up. My older son Alex has his own flip, but I figured my little guy, Chase would get a kick out of playing with his own video camera. My neighbor assured me that it worked but I figured if it didn't that's cool, too. It was only 2 bucks.

So today just for giggles, I recorded my Sing-A-Long-With-Missy birthday wish to Jim Kukral.

Happy Birthday Jim.

Shawn Collins Needs an Intervention

Almost everyone knows that I'd do anything for my friend and business partner, Shawn Collins. He is the yang to my yin when it comes to our business relationship.

It is with those heartfelt feelings that I am begging the online marketing community to help me, help Shawn stop creating these goofy videos, like the one above.

I don't know how it started and I'm really not sure how it got to this point. All I know is that it's completely out of hand now and I'm calling on the help of everyone I know to make it stop.

Please help me, help Shawn. Post your prayers and pleas for him to stop either here or on Obama2.com

Friends don't let friends make goofy videos.

Missy Ward Gets Back to Her Roots

After a 20-something year stint as a blonde, I decided to get back to my roots — my brown roots, that is.

While I will not miss sitting in the salon chair every three weeks for touchups, I will miss my hair colorist. Hopefully, my grey will not be coming in any time soon.
