Download Issue 4 of FeedFront.

Can't wait to get your issue in your mailbox this January? The digital version is now available for download.

While our cover story features all the wonderful women of affiliate marketing, I'm equally proud to have interviewed Tim Storm, the Chief Mucky Muck of FatWallet.com. Check out “Taking the Affiliate World by Storm” on pages 4-6.

If you don't know @TimStorm, you should.

Enjoy!

Get a Sneak Peak at Issue #4 of FeedFront…

  • by Missy Ward

Issue #4 of FeedFront Magazine is off to our print house and will be mailed in January. It will also be distributed at Affiliate Summit 2009 West and at the Linkshare Symposium West.

Our cover story is one that I can't be more proud of. You see, back in the late 90's it wasn't unusual to attend an online marketing event and see very few women in the room — and we stuck together like glue.

Fast-forward ten years later and you’ll find that the opposite is true. Affiliate marketing is overflowing with women who are leaders in their fields or bright, up-and-coming innovators.

Shawn Collins and I are honored to feature these amazing women and are thrilled over the content inside of this issue.

If you're currently not on the mailing list for FeedFront Magazine, you can sign up to receive you free subscription here.

On a side note, for those that prefer the digital version, it should be available real soon.

Prepare for Affiliate Summit with FeedFront Magazine

  • by Missy Ward

FeedFront Magazine – the magazine for the futurists; the next-gen marketers; the early adopters in affiliate marketing.

Issue #3

A couple of years ago, Shawn Collins and I talked about creating a print magazine for Affiliate Summit. The idea was to provide free, relevant content to affiliate marketers and also promote the Affiliate Summit brand along the way.

Unfortunately, we are two entrepreneurs filled with tons of marketing ideas and not enough time to do them all. As such, with the limited bandwidth we had at that point, the idea was filed in the “Will Do One Day” pile.

Q1 of 2008 came around and the subject came up again. Fortunately, timing was much better and in April of 2008, Feedfront Magazine was born.

The goal of the magazine is to bring ideas, resources and opinions from Internet marketing innovators to our readership, before their next project or venture. In essence, feedback on the front end. (Hence the name “FeedFront”).

The first bimonthly issue hit mailboxes in June, 2008 and since then has taken on a life of its own. We are now at a solid 25k circulation, which increases from time to time with various partnership distributions at other events.

Our fourth issue, which is a 72-pager, will be mailed out in January and distributed at Affiliate Summit 2009 West and Linkshare Symposium West.

Whether you're just getting into the industry or an affiliate marketing old-timer, there's always something new to learn. Feel free to read the previous issues by clicking the FeedFront covers above.

Other Stuff I Dig

Shout out for CloudShout!

  • by Missy Ward

Just back from Izea Devasaurus put on by Ted Murphy, Founder/CEO of Izea. The idea behind Devasaurus is to get the Orlando Dev Community to meet the folks at Izea, foster local innovation and get us crazy O-town folks mingling.

I got to check out their offices, which were pretty cool and their new innovation, CloudShout which is a tool that enables conversation across blogs and websites. I have to tell you, I was very impressed. While I didn't get the Dev Mumbo Jumbo, I definitely got the idea of what they were trying to accomplish — and it rocks.

They opened up their request for blogger and dev invites today for their alpha phase and I just signed up. They also announced their “Gadget Challenge” in which they are inviting developers to create the coolest gadgets for a chance to win a $5,000 prize to be awarded at IzeaFest.

Unfortunately, I will not be attending IzeaFest this time around as I'll be walking 60-miles in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-day as captain of Affiliate Marketers Worldwide. Maybe the lucky winner, will donate some of their winnings to the walk 😉

There are some slides of the presentation in my pictures.

Check them out and let me know what you think about CloudShout.
