I Want You!

by Missy Ward

Come walk with me and team Affiliate Marketers Worldwide in Seattle, during the 60-Mile Breast Cancer 3-day, September 12-14, 2008. Visit www.60-milewalk.com to join our walk, or make a donation.

This is the second time that I'm doing this walk (yes, I know, I've heard I'm nuts a hundred times already), so feel free to email me with any questions that you may have, if you're interested in walking, donating or sponsoring our team.

I will also be video-blogging the journey at www.AffiliateMarketersGiveBack.com, so please tune in and lend us your support.

**Update** And now we are 10!

Since the time of the original post, our team has grown by an additional 5 members. Anne Fognano and Tammy Carney from Clevermoms.com, Heather Paulson and Jen Campbell from Paulson Management Group, Karen Garcia from GTOManagement and Laura Przybek from buy.at have lent us their feet! I am so excited to have them join the team!

Brian Littleton is Good People

by Missy Ward

I am on my way to Boston for a meeting with the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center, where the Affiliate Summit 2008 East show will be held in August. Shawn Collins is meeting me there, so we figured that we’d host a little Affiliate Marketing Get-Together at Cheers at Faneuil Hall this evening — just because.

In celebration of Good People Day today, the flash holiday masterminded by Gary Vaynerchuk (who is also Good People), I would like to honor Brian Littleton, CEO of ShareASale.com.

Brian is Good People. Watch my video and see why.

Another Reason Why I Love Affiliate Marketing

by Missy Ward

My kids are on Spring Break this week and we've been spending the days together, while I'm working. The beauty of being an affiliate marketer is that I get to work from home, or wherever the hell I feel like it. With all my little goodies like Sprint Mobile Broadband and Grand Central, I'm not chained to my desk — and nobody knows the difference.

Today, I took the kids to Studio Fun in Apopka which is a place where kids can create all sorts of art projects and parents aren't stuck with the mess that they leave behind. They were entertained while I worked. Can't beat that.

I hope your April Fool's day was as much fun as mine.

Jim Kukral – Blogger, Online Marketing Guru, Entrepreneur and Geek Extraordinaire is now on Weviews.tv, telling the world what he likes and what he doesn’t through video testimonials. And, he’s getting paid $50 bucks a pop for them.

Don't you want to get paid for giving your opinions? Watch the video and learn what it takes to be just like Jim Kukral.

The Loose Rules on Submitting Video to Weviews.tv:

• 1 to 2-minute consumer generated video reviews that discuss the features and benefits of the product or service along with the reasons why you are endorsing it.
• Video must display the Weviews URL and product name throughout your video. For instance, if you were reviewing an Asus EEE, you would display http://www.weviews.tv/asuseee throughout your video.

• The product or service must be available for purchase online through a merchant with an affiliate program.
