Share Your Secret for Chance to Win an iPod…
Market Leverage is running a contest going through the month of December and MissyWard.com will one of the sponsors of it.
What Market Leverage and I are looking for is a text or video comment on this post, telling us your secret to making money online.
There will be one winner from each of the blogs sponsoring the contest. The winner will get their choice of the HD Flip Mino or an iPod Nano.
To top it off, there will also be three Grand Prize winners , selected from the sponsoring blogs that will win a Market Leverage Grand Prize Pack that includes a Kindle, a $100 Market Leverage Rewards Card and a $50.00 iTunes Gift Card.
The grand prize winners will be announced on January 5, 2009.
Full details on qualifying can be found below.
So now’s not the time to be quiet. Share your secret for a chance to win some great prizes!
In fact, I’ll start you off with a tip from me…
“Passion and Consistency. Create a website around something that you’re passionate about. Whether it be cooking, dining out, home repair, apparel, electronics – or whatever floats your boat. Creating content around a niche that you’re fanatical about becomes a labor of love and something that you’ll be able to be consistent with, instead of being a daily chore that you’ll begin to lose interest in. If you’re site becomes recognized as a good source in your particular niche, site visitors will come back for more.”
So that’s my tip – Now, what's the dope on your success?

Hi
Here is my entry.. Hope you will like.

Secret World Outside PPC.
Yes, I know most of the top affiliate marketings and those super affiliates are promoting their affiliate programs via PPC. But tell you what, PPC is not the only thing you should do to make money via affiliate program. You have to look at the world outside search engines for a super success.
Here are few ways you can do the stuffs :
– Promote your site via youtube, metacafe etc via video marketing. These will bring some long term traffic.
– Search engine optimization – yes, few marketers go the other way (SEO) instead of paying for PPC campagins. SEO could be costly initially but it will also bring long term traffic. while on PPC, if you stop paying, your campaign ends.
– Facebook, Myspace etc – Teenagers and some other people visit social networking sites more often than search engines. Target these audience too.
– Keep writing reguarly some unique articles on your blog. keep promoting the product – not only on one blog, but on other sites/blog too. Point all the sites to your main landing page.
– Link baiting – all knows about this.
– Participate in forums, Blogs and related communities and plug your site wherever you get the chance.. (but within rules 😀 )
– Email marketing – yes this is also a great way to market your landing page/campagins. Build a big email list or you can buy some. Check aweber. This is also a long term promotion method.
– Free stuffs – give some free stuffs – softwares, ebooks, etc. Don't forget to plug your site.
Try them out… don't rely totally on PPC or you will not earn much Or you might even lose. Though this will not bring great $$ initially, but they will bring small revenue for a long long time. 😉

My tip: You can siphon money off other successful marketers indirectly. This is done by looking at how they are making money and modeling their system. Now you don’t have to follow the same methods these marketers follow, but tweek it to maximize the potential profits the offer can earn.
For example, you could monitor a set of PPC adverts for a specific set of keywords. You would see over a period of time if these people continue to advertise with these keywords and if they do, you can be pretty sure that they are making a profit from their system. All you need to do is examine how they are making money and model your own business around a similar process (do not copy other people’s work).

My secret to making money online is to take it offline. Turn off the laptop and go meet people. Network at conferences, join meet up groups in your area, and shake hands with people. Build relationships with people in your space. Somewhere down the road an opportunity will open and because you put in the effort to make connections, you’ll get the first phone call.

Here is my tip:
Instead of building 100 low quality sites build 1-2 sites that will be high quality unique content sites, after that use every single opportunity to promote your site, social media, seo, etc, market your sites everywhere you can, think of your two sites as a life time investment, even if it takes you 1-2 years to start making real money this investment will last a lifetime.
Many internet marketers start 1-2 new projects every months and when you end up with too many websites it becomes virtually impossible to market them, having 1-2 sites allows you to focus all of your knowledge on the new traffic generation techniques that you learn, apply those techniques to your two sites and keep growing your websites.
Finally, traffic = money, stop reading and start generating traffic right now.

Tks.

Hi Missy,
Please take me out of the running for the content, but would like to share a tip still.
Think of what your business represents and act in your own best long-term interests. Even though your online business might be a virtual one, thinking of it as a brick-and-mortar biz means you are more likely to treat readers, customers, merchants, networks with respect, rather than flaming someone on the spur of the moment (especially in a dispute where money is involved).
Everyone’s watching everyone else, especially over social media, so treating your business AS a business (rather than just a bunch of html pages on some faraway webhosting account) will ensure you’re good to go for the long haul.

Thanks for playing Miguel and Mubin. Good luck!
Stop thinking and start working. Reading blogs and forums is great, but you will never make any money doing that. You will LEARN how to make money but you will never earn it.
If you want to earn money with ML you need to look at a campaign that interests you, and start sending some traffic there way. Before you start worrying about split testing, and keyword groups start try linking direct to the advertisers. Its an old method and outdated but it still works and people still make money.
If you can make some money that way the next step is make your own landing page and increase your quality score, when your quality score gets better your cpc goes down. I fyou do this right you should be able to build a sustainable campaign that can continue to make you a profit whilst you move onto the next campaign.
Rinse and repeat.
