Affiliate Summit Announces the Femme Trifecta

I'm thrilled to announce that Affiliate Summit is “bringin' back the ladies“, for this summer's Affiliate Summit East 2009 (ASE09), taking place in New York City, August 9-11.

Jen Goode and Julie Vazquez are back for part deux after their outstanding performances at ASW09. Joining them will be “Heather in BC”.

Here's a little bit about these fine women and what roles they'll be playing, in conjunction with Affiliate Summit East 2009.

Jen Goode Photo Jen Goode is the illustrator and owner of JGoode Designs. She has been a professional in the design industry and an advocate of new media and online marketing for artists since 1997. Jen will continue on in her role as “Affiliate Summit's Mentor Program Priestess“. The Mentor Program provides first-time attendees an opportunity to be mentored by an Affiliate Summit veteran. Heather in BC Photo “Heather in BC” authors three blogs, lives aboard the 52-foot ‘Jervis Mist' five months of the year, and writes of her boating adventures, life in the beautiful Province of British Columbia, her 95 year young ‘Pop' and daily family events. She also loves spreading news about the Social Media world. Heather will be taking on the role as the “Affiliate Summit's Goddess of the Good Word“. In this role she'll be conducting pre-conference interviews with Affiliate Summit East 2009 speakers and posting daily coverage recaps on the Affiliate Summit blog, during the event. Julie Vazquez Photo Julie Vazquez is a social media junkie that loves blogging, SEO, and Twitter. Her dream job is to be a Social Media Manager for a super cool brand online. Julie is back in action as the “BlogMistress” of the Affiliate Summit Blogger's Lounge, where she'll be acting as liason between Affiliate Summit and the press and bloggers attending the show. I get a lot of requests asking me what conferences I recommend to folks that are into affiliate marketing, search marketing and social media.

There's certainly a lot to choose from and since every dollar counts these days, I decided to put a list together of conference and tradeshows that I personally recommend and plan on attending this year.

Chris Brogan and Peter Shankman to Keynote Affiliate Summit…

Affiliate Summit attendees are in for a special treat when Chris Brogan and Peter Shankman offer up their exciting keynotes during the upcoming Affiliate Summit East 2009 in New York, taking place August 9th-11th.

Chris Brogan is President of New Marketing Labs, a social media agency and events organization. He is a ten year veteran of using social media and technology to build digital relationships for businesses, organizations, and individuals. Chris speaks, blogs, writes articles, and makes media of all kinds at chrisbrogan.com, a blog in the top 10 of the Advertising Age Power150, and in the top 100 on Technorati. He is co-founder of PodCamp, the international new media conference series. Chris won the Mass High Tech All Stars award for thought leaders for 2008. He has been quoted in US News & World Report, The Montreal Gazette, Newsweek, and some other places.

Peter is the founder and CEO of The Geek Factory,
a marketing and PR firm. He launched HelpAReporter.com to connect journalists with sources via social media. He launched AirTroductions, which was acquired and re-launched as TripLife. He is the author of "Can We Do That?! Outrageous PR Stunts That Work and Why Your Company Needs Them."

Chris will take the stage on Monday, August 10th and Peter on Tuesday, August 11th.

I can't be more thrilled to have such powerhouses at the conference. I just love watching them speak.
