Team @AMGB to be Honored During the Avon Rocky…

I just got word that Team Affiliate Marketers Give Back will be honored during the opening ceremonies taking place during the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, Rocky Montains Walk.

We will be recognized for being the top fundraising team for this Avon Walk along with having the single largest fundraiser, Captain Missy Ward. (View all top fundraisers here.)

This year's team will be walking 39 miles on June 25-26 through the scenic mountains and trails of Summit County, Colorado.

While we're all excited for the fresh air and beautiful views, we are extremely nervous about the high altitudes and potential for most of us to get altitude sickness due to the reduced air pressure and lower oxygen levels at this high altitude.

As of today, our team has raised $65,736.00 and we're still going strong, but some of our team members could really use some help with hitting their minimum fundraising requirements.

You see, when we all sign up to walk, we make a commitment to Avon that we will each raise a minimum of $1,800 each, in order to participate in the actual event. A few of our teammates are still under goal and may not be able to walk with us. So, if you can help them out, please consider making a donation to any of the walkers on this page that have not reached their $1,800 minimum.

Race to Affiliate Summit East 2011 & Help Save…

Affiliate Summit has created a dailymile Challenge where we will donate $1 to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade for each mile run or walked (up to $5,000) from 05/23/11 through 07/31/2011. Pink Ribbon Runner

dailymile syncs with Garmin (205, 305, 310xt, 405, 405cx), Nike+ device and iPhone app, as well as a number of iPhone and Android clients.

You can also manually enter your running and walking efforts.

Shawn Collins Running — Can you rack up more miles than Shawn Collins?

In order to participate in dailymile activities, you will need to friend Shawn Collins on dailymile, and he will invite you to the challenge.

Do you accept the Race to Affiliate Summit East 2011 Challenge?

Affiliate Summit East 2011 is taking place August 21-23, 2011 in New York City.

The participant with the most total miles at the end of the challenge will receive a Platinum pass to the conference.

In June, I will once again be heading up Team AffiliateMarketersGiveBack.com in our annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

I have about $9,000 remaining to hit my lofty goal of $50,000, and I'm trying just about every fundraising idea known to womankind 🙂 This post is no exception.

Many of you know that I'm a wine geek, and on my way (slowly) to becoming a Master Sommelier. One of my favorite things to do is share the wine knowledge that I've accumulated with friends that enjoy wine as much as me.

Taking that one step further, I decided to create a wine, that I'd be proud to stick my name on and use it as a way to help raise funds to fight breast cancer.

As such, Signorina was born. It's a lovely 2008 burgundy-style blend, with all of the grapes sourced from incredible vineyards in Napa, CA.

While I was in Napa last week for a wine-tasting trip, I got the news that Signorina was ready to ship!
